A Little Nostalgia With the Orange and Blue
For Those Who Remember

The Association of Retired Police Officers is an organization of retired sworn police officers who served with the Nassau County Police Department or sworn police officers who were members of a Village or City police department or other police department located within the confines of Nassau County, New York.  Don Ramme, a retired member of the Nassau County Police Department was the prime organizer and first president of the organization, having started the organization in organization October 27, 1983 with 17  members.  Since that time, the organization has grown to almost 2000 members.

The association (ARPO) meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM at the offices of the Nassau County Police Benevolent Association, located at 89 E. Jericho Turnpike, Mineola, NY.
